Business Reply Mail (BRM) is mail that is returned in a special pre-addressed and postage paid envelope. BRM requires a special permit and payment of an annual fee as well as use of client and item specific artwork (FIM and barcode) when envelopes are printed. Courtesy Reply Mail (CRM) is mail that is returned in a special pre-addressed envelope however it requires the sender to affix First Class postage. CRM does not require a permit or fees, but special artwork is necessary. Please call ffi for a more thorough explanation.
PLEASE NOTE: The USPS requires all addressed envelopes or postcards enclosed in automation rate mailpieces to be automation compatible. This means they must have the proper barcode preprinted. Let us help you meet this requirement by ordering the appropriate artwork from the USPS. There is no charge for this service.
