If you’re a non-profit organization but don’t yet have the required authorization from the USPS to mail at non-profit postage rates, we can help you with that process. There are no fees to pay but there is an application to complete and submit to the post office along with required documentation showing your IRS non-profit status and your organization’s primary purpose.
The authorization process usually takes 2-6 weeks so it’s best to plan ahead. If you’re on a tight timeline and need to mail before the authorization is granted, but you’ve already submitted the application you can still mail at the Standard Mail Regular rates and upon receipt of the authorization, you can request a refund of the difference in postage between Standard Mail Regular and Non-profit rates, and that can be a significant amount! ffi will be happy to help make this happen!
